How to be Anti Gambling

1. Inform your congregation of the dangers of online gambling by having your church secretary place inserts into your church's bulletin.

2. Place advertisements sponsored by your church in your local newspaper. Let the public know how you stand on gambling and the lottery. You can place ads in Arkansas newspapers for cheap.

3. Preach (or encourage your pastor to preach an anti gambling sermon(s) in your church to show your congregation how the lottery is morally wrong.

4. Place anti-gambling yard signs in front of your church, along the road, and in people's yards.

5. Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper explaining why people should vote to stop online gambling.

6. Remind the people in your church to get out and vote against gambling by announcing it from the pulpit and in your church's bulletin. 50% percent of the people in your church are not likely to vote, especially if they do not feel strongly about the issue.

Deuteronomy 6:2-3

Make the right choice...Obey the Commandments, and do not gamble.

Jas 4:1-8

1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
